Alfred is a new quick launching application that is in beta but gets more promising (and stable) with each release. If Quicksilver’s mercurial nature and LaunchBar’s price are not your speed, this is worth a look.
Looks interesting. Too bad I’m pretty into Google’s Quick Search Box. It works well for me, but I’ll keep an eye on this one.

A coworker picked up a pc from Best Buy so I thought I would check out what they have in stock. I’ve been looking to rebuild an older pc of mine so I’m always looking at prices of parts and big box machines. When I saw this HP, and the price, my jaw hit the floor. I was speechless, and sadly it brought a tear to my eye. The fact that it’s sold out I didn’t even question.

A great mantra, live like a hummingbird. I think I’ll add it to “Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered you will never grow.”
Favorite iPhone Apps
I believe finding good iPhone apps is impossible. However, I have found several extremely useful apps that I use on a daily basis.
(I hate having multiple apps that do the same thing, but Apple won’t let me remove theirs. I keep all the native apps on the first page and tend to ignore it.)

Go get it.
I use ReadItLater, and I love that app. But some of these updates look pretty enticing. If I was just getting into these apps now I would probably go with this one, but as I am not I just can’t switch. Hopefully ReadItLater will get some of these features in a future update.

I’m definitely crushing on this tablet. Possibly because it’s running a full version of Windows 7, but also because this thing could be an amazing media streamer since it can get content from Netflix streaming and Hulu.
