fuckyeahspace: In 1965 Edward White became the second human and the first American to walk in space (the first was Russian cosmonaut Alexei Leonov). This restored photo shows him and the 25 foot long gold-plated tether which attached him to his small craft Gemini 4. Ed White was killed in 1967 while training for Apollo 1. To be able to see the entire continents and oceans in a single view while floating in nothingness sends chills down my spine. On my top ten list of things to do this is number one. I use ReadItLater, and I love that app. But some of these updates look pretty enticing. If I was just getting into these apps now I would probably go with this one, but as I am not I just can’t switch. Hopefully ReadItLater will get some of these features in a future update.
